April and May Programs Announced

April 27th Dr. Nicole J. Poritsanos, Assistant Professor-Academic Advisor; CBC-Faculty Senate President, will speak on the Zika virus; nporitsanos@coastalbend.edu; 361-522-2093 (Cell); works at Coastal Bend College in Alice and is a past member of the Kingsville Rotary Club.

 

May 4th Katrina Watson – President Elect will give us a report on the President Elect conference she recently attended. Will include an excellent video regarding Rotary’s theme for 2016.  Must be present to find out the theme!

 

May 11th John Martinez, the volunteer coordinator for River City Hospice, here in Alice, Texas will give a program on Hospice care and volunteer possibilities and what one might expect when volunteering.

 

May 18th Tom Schmid, Executive Director of the Texas State Aquarium will provide a SUPER PROGRAM regarding what is happening at OUR TEXAS STATE AQUARIUM.  This includes progress on the $ 50,000,000 Caribbean wing, new Dolphins, Sea Camps etc.  This program will be just in time for the Summer break and please bring a guest.  Promises to be a wonderful time and very enlightening! tschmid@txstateaq.org           Office 361.881.1242 Cell 361.548.0544
